Silhouette Group appoints Christian Bachler as CEO

With Christian Bachler, the Silhouette Group is gaining an internationally experienced leader with proven expertise in the consumer goods and lifestyle industry. Most recently, as Executive Vice President at the Fiskars Group, he was responsible for the global Vita division with sales of around 650 million euros and around 2,500 employees. In this role, he managed a portfolio of renowned premium and luxury brands and played a key role in driving their strategic and operational development in the core markets of the USA, Europe and Asia.

Bachler has over 20 years of international management experience and has extensive expertise in brand management, portfolio strategy and operational excellence. Previous management positions at Swarovski, particularly in the areas of product, design and marketing, underline his consistent brand and customer-oriented focus.

The current CEO Reinhard Mahr will continue to accompany the company as CFO until his planned retirement and ensure a structured transition.
