Julbo expands its German team and focuses on growth in the sports and optical market
The French brand Julbo is strengthening its activities in the German market and expanding its team with three new employees. With these new hires, the company is expanding its presence in the areas of sport, optics and marketing in a targeted manner and is consistently continuing its growth course in Germany.

Targeted reinforcement for the German market
The three new additions have been with the company since the beginning or middle of 2026 and will take on central functions in sales and marketing. The aim is to further advance the development of the brand in German-speaking countries. The focus will be on expanding cooperation with specialist retailers, strengthening the brand's presence and further deepening customer and partner relationships.
„Germany is a strategically very important market for Julbo, in which we are systematically expanding our activities in the sports and optical retail sector. Dennie Wagner - Key Account Manager Sport Germany
Dennie Wagner joined the Julbo Germany team as Key Account Manager Sport in January 2026. In this role, he is responsible for supporting and expanding the sports key accounts in Germany and sports retailers in Bavaria. The graduate sports scientist from the German Sport University Cologne has many years of experience in the sports, outdoor and bicycle industry. His career has included stints at Salewa, Arnold Sports, Viking Footwear and RTI Sports. He gained extensive expertise in product management, sales, category management and brand development.
Clara Benders - Sports Marketing Specialist Germany
Clara Benders has been part of Julbo as Sports Marketing Specialist Germany since May 2026. She grew up in the Rhineland and now lives near the Bavarian Alps, where she actively pursues her passion for outdoor sports - including hiking, running, mountain biking and skiing. Within the marketing team, she works closely with the DACH team and the headquarters and is responsible for event management, athlete and sponsorship activities as well as the expansion of the professional mountain sports network in Germany. She previously worked in tourism management at Garmisch-Partenkirchen Tourismus in the area of events and cooperation. She also has experience in the event sector as a freelancer for Alpina, among others.
James Littlejohn - Account Manager Optics Bavaria
James Littlejohn joined the Julbo team in May 2026 as Account Manager Optics for Bavaria. Before joining Julbo, he worked as an Account Manager at Oakley and thus brings relevant experience from the optical and specialist retail environment. Having grown up in Australia, he now lives in Munich and has a strong personal affinity for board and outdoor sports, especially surfing and snowboarding, which he enjoys whenever possible. In his role, he is responsible for commercial development in the Bavarian optical retail sector and looks after central key accounts in order to further expand Julbo's distribution and brand presence in this strategically important market.
