Most spectacle lenses available on the market are based on a standard eye model. However, the vision and therefore the entire visual system of every spectacle wearer is unique. B.I.G. Exact Sensitive is the first and only ophthalmic lens that integrates advanced algorithms based on the wearer's exact biometric eye model to take their unique visual perception into account. Each lens is calculated based on more than 7000 biometric data points and over 80 parameters captured using DNEye technology. The result is a lens that is as unique as a fingerprint, as it is manufactured using the individual biometric data and visual sensitivity profile.

The result is a lens that supports the wearer's entire visual system and thus offers an incomparable degree of biometric precision.

Rodenstock now offers these innovative lenses across its entire portfolio. B.I.G. Exact Sensitive is available as a single vision lens (mono) for spectacle wearers up to around the age of 35 and offers sharp, natural vision for near or distance vision. As Mono+, it is additionally equipped with support for reading, close-up vision and the digital lifestyle for spectacle wearers aged 25 and over.

A progressive lens is the ideal solution for spectacle wearers whose eyes need a little more support. It is characterized by a seamless transition between near, intermediate and distance vision and offers maximum comfort thanks to a wide field of vision and high spontaneous tolerance. Ergo is the tailor-made solution for the workplace from the age of 45. With a near and intermediate range for indoor work at a distance of up to 2.5 meters, Ergo relieves strain on the eyes and supports a natural posture. Each glass category is now available in three premium glass designs.

With B.I.G. Exact Sensitive, Rodenstock takes biometric individualization to the next level. The results of an internal lens design comparison confirm that B.I.G. Exact Sensitive lenses offer improved visual performance and up to 42%^[1] offer more aberration-free areas.

For an external wearer study, Rodenstock collaborated with the University of Applied Sciences in Munich and defined remarkable improvements in several key performance indicators of B.I.G. Exact Sensitive: on average, each wearer experienced a 28 %^[2] improved reading flow, as visual comfort was optimized at near and intermediate distances. The participants reported an improvement in transition-free, dynamic vision of 24 %² as the transitions between the visual zones of the lenses and the different visual distances were perceived as seamless. They reported a 35 %^[2] improved orientation from distance to near and from central to peripheral vision. 83 %^[2]  of spectacle wearers in the study preferred the new design, which takes their visual sensitivity into account.
