Binocular vision congress on the last weekend in May
The International Association for Binocular Vision (IVBS) invites all experts and interested parties involved in binocular vision to its 38th annual congress. The conference will take place on May 30/31 in Ludwigsburg, Baden-Württemberg.

12 speakers from different professional groups will present a varied program on the topic of binocular vision in seminars and lectures. The IVBS Congress is a COE-certified continuing education event. The Organization of Swiss Optometry (OSO) also awards continuing education credits for this conference.
On the first day of the congress, nine seminars will impart knowledge on topics such as „Functional tests for MKH“, „MKH with ADHD/LRS, child-friendly for successful results“, „Skiascopy“ and „Visual performance parameters“.
The popular „Table Talks“ will also be offered again, in which interested congress visitors can participate free of charge and without registration. There are three topics to choose from: „Anisometropia - a binocular problem“, „Binocular vision specialization - what to consider?“ and „Health insurance billing or private practice?“.
On Sunday, the program includes eight lectures followed by a discussion. In addition to the classic content from the field of binocular vision, the topics also make interesting connections between optometry and other fields. These include, for example, „Binocular vision and flute playing“.
Comprehensive information on the congress can be found at www.ivbs.org. You can also register online there. If you have any questions, please contact the IVBS office.
Seminars and the lecture program can be booked independently of each other; members of the IVBS receive a discount of around 50 %.
