SOG Publishes Its 2025 Annual Report
«Guided by the motto »Building Bridges,’ we promote exchange between clinical practice and hospitals, between surgical and conservative ophthalmology, across generations and language regions, and between the general public and our professional society.” – PD Dr. med. Pascal Hasler, President of the SOG.

The Swiss Ophthalmological Society (SOG) has published its 2025 annual report. It provides insight into the diverse activities of the national professional association of ophthalmologists: from advocating for the interests of the profession in health policy and fee schedules to raising public awareness of the warning signs of retinal detachment and promoting the next generation of physicians.
The Annual Report At the same time, it demonstrates how the SOG fosters professional exchange, brings together different perspectives within ophthalmology, and advocates for high-quality ophthalmological care in Switzerland.
The SOG 2025 Annual Report is available in German and French. It is now available on the SOG website both as an interactive flipbook and as a PDF for download.
