The name „Minamoto“ means „origin“ in Japanese and that is exactly where the brand's inspiration lies: in Sabae, the center of Japanese eyewear manufacturing. This is where Charmant combines decades of titanium expertise with traditional craftsmanship and uncompromising quality standards.

Japanese manufacturing with character

Every Minamoto frame is made in Japan. High-quality Japanese titanium - even in the nose pads - ensures exceptional lightness, durability and comfort.

The minimalist design language is based on Japanese aesthetics and is inspired by Zen philosophy and historical eyewear designs. Fine details, such as the logo designed by a master calligrapher, underline the brand's cultural roots.

Inspired by Kumiko craftsmanship

The 2026 collection draws on traditional Japanese Kumiko wood art: filigree geometric patterns created by precise handwork. This principle has been transferred to the frames with finely engraved titanium structures and special depth effects in the acetate.

The highlights of the new collection

Chokichi (MN31034)

Timeless Boston shape with milled front and striking structure. The new antique finish provides an exciting contrast to the shiny acetate temples.

Kano (MN31035)

Strong character acetate front with high vintage nose bridge. The BK color variant is reminiscent of the Japanese art form Suminagashi.

Ichijo (MN31036)

Precise geometric shape with elegantly designed nose bridge. Particularly elegant: the combination of milky acetate and golden details in the BE color variant.

Ikkin (MN31037)

A new interpretation of the Wellington style, combining an acetate front with a discreetly visible, structured outer frame.
