The contact lens was developed to meet the changing visual needs of people with astigmatism. It offers high wearing comfort**(2), excellent visual acuity**(2) and high stability(2) as well as clear, sharp vision at all distances and in all light conditions for presbyopic wearers**(2).<\/p>\n

Astigmatism affects around half of all people in at least one eye, making it one of the most common visual defects. At the same time, it is estimated that up to 2.1 billion people worldwide will develop presbyopia due to age by 2030 (6). Although there are various contact lens options for people with astigmatism, around one in four wearers discontinue contact lens use within the first year - often due to blurred vision or lack of comfort (7).
