Recent studies show that almost half of varifocal spectacle wearers worldwide have a clear desire for more natural, intuitive changes of gaze, especially at close and intermediate distances. In addition, a study shows that almost a third of the population has to move their head beyond a natural range in order to focus at near or intermediate distances. Almost 30 % would like to see significantly better coordination when changing gaze and refocusing from far to near vision and vice versa. \u00b9<\/p>\n

These symptoms may be due to the fact that existing progressive lenses do not take into account the individual Visual Sensory Intelligence* of a spectacle wearer - i.e. the individual way in which the brain processes and interprets visual information and reacts to visual stimuli. This is based on the individual brain structure, personal experiences and sensory needs.<\/p>\n

In order to precisely capture these individual needs, the Hoya visuSense interactive measuring system analyzes the personal eye movement pattern, body posture and the tolerance of blur alignment.
