By equipping optometrists with effective, accessible materials, we are helping to establish myopia management as a global standard of care - that's a legacy we can all be proud of.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201eThis initiative reflects our shared commitment to raising awareness of myopia globally, and we are just getting started. By supporting optometrists and associations with clear, practical tools, we are helping them have more effective conversations that empower families to better understand and manage myopia, ultimately leading to improved vision for children worldwide,\u201c said Olga Prenat, Chair of the Global Myopia Awareness Coalition and Global Head of Medical and Professional Affairs, EssilorLuxottica.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to this toolkit, the GMAC publishes videos on social media introducing the members of the Board and Advisory Council and showcasing the global reach, diversity and expertise of the initiative. In these videos, they describe why they joined GMAC and the role they believe GMAC can play in promoting myopia awareness worldwide.<\/p>\n<p>GMAC is currently running a pilot project to increase the visibility and local use of the materials, providing co-branded versions to selected member associations.
