Lars sets new accents in eyewear design with Lacet
Lars made a strong statement at Opti in Munich with the new Lacet collection. The new product attracted a great deal of attention and surprised trade visitors from the media, opticians and the international eyewear industry alike. Numerous interested parties took the opportunity to see the new design approach for themselves at the stand, which was perceived as independent, modern and consistent.

Lacet stands for Clarity. Ease. Translucence. - and translates these values into a clear, minimalist design language. Characteristic is the combination of precise lines and milky-transparent ring inserts that give the collection its visual depth. Nylon and liquid polymer meet here and combine technical precision with subtle colors. The interplay of material, light and shape gives the frames a special lightness and a modern, flowing aesthetic.
The frames are made from high-quality polyamide using a 3D printing process in Switzerland. This enables precise realization of the shapes, high stability and a very low weight at the same time. The frames are complemented by translucent liquid polymer elements that gently absorb light and make the material shine discreetly. The modular structure - consisting of front, ring inserts, temples and pins - ensures harmonious integration of the individual components and emphasizes the material-accentuated design.
design claim of the collection.
In addition to the formal design, Lacet also sets accents in terms of content. The model and color names come from Rumantsch, Switzerland's fourth national language, and are inspired by nature, light and movement. Designations such as Alva Sglisch for white with a hint of shine or Glischna for soft light lend the collection a poetic level and create a connection between technology, culture and origin that also catches the eye in specialist stores.
The name Lacet itself is a deliberate fusion of Lars and Clarity, Ease and Translucence. It stands for material innovation, visual lightness and a design language that is deliberately minimalist yet surprising. The collection is produced and manufactured entirely in Switzerland - a clear commitment to local production, precision and quality.
With Lacet, Lars invites you to rediscover eyewear design: as an interplay of form, light and material that combines technical sophistication with a calm, timeless aesthetic.
